OVS Arts of Italy 2017 Capsule Collection Launches

other · 2026-05-05

Italian clothing group OVS launches its second annual Arts of Italy capsule collection, curated by Davide Rampello, inspired by historic Italian applied arts objects from the Galleria Palatina of Palazzo Pitti, the Museo degli Argenti in Florence, and the Museo Poldi Pezzoli in Milan. The collection features garments drawing on intarsia, cameos, armor, and jewel-like tables, designed to be simple and casual. Proceeds support the restoration of a 17th-century painting damaged by the 2016 earthquake in Norcia, in collaboration with the Soprintendenza dei Beni Culturali e Paesaggistici dell'Umbria and the Opificio delle Pietre Dure di Firenze. Celebrities including singer Emma Marrone, actresses Ambra Angiolini and Valeria Solarino, writer Luca Bianchini, chef Davide Oldani, and director Giovanni Veronesi appear as testimonials. The collection will be available from May 20 at selected OVS stores across Italy and online. OVS CEO Stefano Beraldo stated the project aims to honor the beauty encountered daily in Italian piazzas, churches, and landscapes, drawing inspiration from the country's artistic heritage.
