AI platforms like ChatGPT further promote these hotspots. To alleviate congestion, some regions, such as Lake Braies in 2023, introduced parking reservations, while the Seceda funivia increased ticket prices by more than 20 euros. Local residents face diminished services and increased traffic. Authorities have stationed police above 1,500 meters to advise tourists, and a study by Riccardo Beltramo indicates that traditional functions of huts are declining. Mayor Riccardo Fasoli has called on content creators to reflect on their influence.
