Outset Fund Awards £275,000 to Six Institutions Including Performa and Centre Pompidou

Through its Outset Partners initiative, the Outset Contemporary Art Fund has awarded a total of £275,000 to six organizations. Among the beneficiaries, Performa, a performance art group based in the US, received a Transformative Grant of £150,000 for its 'Living Archives', a digital archive platform. Additionally, five institutions were granted £25,000 each as Impact Grants: Artists in Residence, Bold Tendencies, Centre Pompidou, Green Papaya Art Projects, and the International Curators Forum. The funding will support various projects, including a School Residence Programme by Artists in Residence, space expansion by Bold Tendencies with Feilden Fowles Architects, and the 'Graphic Cultures of Dissent' at the Centre Pompidou, among others, culminating in 'Diaspora Pavilion 2' at the 59th Venice Biennale in 2022.
