Ostia Biennale Explores Memory and Coexistence at Archaeological Park
The tenth Biennale d'Arte in Memoria, under the curation of Adachiara Zevi, will be open to the public until April 14 at Ostia Antica. This event, organized by Arteinmemoria and backed by the Ministry for Cultural Heritage, enjoys the support of the Committee for the Celebrations in Memory of the Shoah, the Union of Italian Jewish Communities, and the Jewish Community of Rome. Additionally, the Austrian Cultural Forum and the Polish Institute in Rome are among the supporting institutions. Maria Rosaria Barbera highlights this edition's focus on memory for a conscious future and inclusion. Featured artists include Ruth Beraha, Norbert Hinterberger, Zbigniew Libera, and Karyn Olivier. Concerns have been raised regarding the lack of engagement from local institutions since the Alemanno administration.
