Ostia beach cabins become art spaces for Bagni Misteriosi group show
From October 15 to 16, 2022, the Sporting Beach Club in Ostia will present Bagni Misteriosi, a collective exhibition that reimagines its historic beach cabins as artistic venues. Curated by Giacomo Guidi and supported by Contemporary Cluster [Collective Intelligence], this event is part of the Cabine d’Artista series initiated by Alessandra Borzacchini. The exhibition's title draws inspiration from Giorgio de Chirico's Bagni Misteriosi series, which was influenced by a 1934 lithograph for Jean Cocteau's Mythologie, depicting figures on a wax-polished floor. A total of 34 artists will participate, each utilizing a cabin to create an interconnected display. Featured artists include Paolo Assenza, Fabrizio Cicero, and many others.
