Oscar winners back Cinema America after Rome attacks

A solidarity message has been endorsed by notable figures including Francis Ford Coppola, Alfonso Cuarón, Willem Dafoe, and Guillermo del Toro, in support of the Cinema America youth group in Rome following an attack. This initiative was driven by Alberto Barbera, the Venice Film Festival's Artistic Director; Antonio Monda, who directs the Rome Film Fest; and Nathalie Baldascini, a collaborator of the late Bernardo Bertolucci. The group is set to continue its summer screenings at locations such as Piazza San Cosimato, Cervelletta, and Porto di Ostia. Upcoming appearances feature JR on July 10, Debra Winger on July 25, and Mathieu Kassovitz on July 28, alongside Italian artists like Paolo Sorrentino and Gabriele Mainetti. The program concludes on August 1.
