Oscar Tuazon's European Exhibitions Explore Rupture and Suspension
Oscar Tuazon, who was born in 1975 in Seattle, pursued his education at Cooper Union and participated in the independent study program at the Whitney Museum before gaining experience in Vito Acconci's studio. Residing in Paris since 2007, he co-established the gallery Castillo/Corrales alongside Thomas Boutoux, François Piron, Benjamin Thorel, and Boris Gobille. His current gallery is Balice & Hertling. Recent showcases include the Centre international d'art et du paysage (November 14 – February 7), Kunsthalle Bern (February 12 – March 28), and Parc Saint-Léger (March 20 – June 6). His significant works comprise "Daybreak Star" and "Bend it Till it Breaks." An exhibition at the Institute of Contemporary Arts London is available until August 15, accompanied by a monograph featuring discussions with Sandra Patron, Chiara Parisi, and Philippe Pirotte.
