Ordet: new art space opens in Milan founded by Mousse founders

exhibition · 2026-05-04

Ordet, a fresh art initiative established by Edoardo Bonaspetti and Stefano Cernuschi, previously associated with Mousse, has launched in Milan's Porta Romana area, close to Fondazione Prada. The 250 sqm venue is provided by Massimo Giorgetti and supported by a group of patrons and a development committee that includes Vincenzo de Bellis, curator at Walker Art Center in Minneapolis. The opening exhibition features a solo showcase by John Knight (b. 1945, Hollywood), who usually refrains from revealing images of his work prior to the event, instead offering a postcard without captions. Following Knight's exhibition, Ordet will explore themes of borders and control through various mediums. The name Ordet is inspired by Carl Theodor Dreyer's film, and it operates as an SRL.
