Oracle reveals Foster + Partners pedestrian bridge for Nashville's East Bank
Oracle Corporation has proposed an 863-foot pedestrian bridge over the Cumberland River to Nashville's Metro Planning Department, designed by Foster + Partners. This 16-foot-wide bridge will connect the East Bank to Germantown and will have a steel-mast support system along with a cable-supported deck and a cast-in-place concrete deck. On the East Bank, the structure will split around a median, guiding traffic towards Oracle's future headquarters. The Germantown side will feature a pavilion and dining areas. Construction could start as soon as summer 2026, with a Metro Planning Department meeting on June 25 to review the final site plan. This project is part of a larger redevelopment plan for the East Bank, which also includes affordable housing and a new Tennessee Performing Arts Center.
