OPS: Open Playful Space merges sport and art in Matera
The OPS (Open Playful Space) project, promoted by UISP Basilicata, turns the city into a stage for blending sport and art, targeting younger audiences. The initiative uses the hashtag #OPS to encourage exploration of lesser-known urban areas and underground creative expression. The final event is a two-day gathering at Parco del Boschetto, featuring art du déplacement performances by Laurent Piemontesi and site-specific works by Teatro Potlach. The project runs from June 1 to 2, 2019, as part of Matera 2019 European Capital of Culture program.
