Opiemme Collective Opens Magasin CLD1 in Turin's Barriera di Milano

exhibition · 2026-04-26

The Opiemme collective, founded in 1998 in Turin, has opened a new space called Magasin CLD1 at Via Baltea 7 in the Barriera di Milano district. The space is described by members Margherita Berardinelli, Tommaso Campano, and Davide Bonatti as a warehouse that will periodically host visits and exhibitions, featuring works by other artists alongside their own. The inaugural show, Human Gravity, debuted in November 2024 at Galleria Marignana Arte in Venice and runs at Magasin CLD1 until November 2, 2025. It presents small-format works (25×25 cm) exploring the relationship between humans and nature, prompted by anthropologist Sabina Spada's question about humanity's interconnectedness with all existence. Concurrently, the collective has mounted Corde, an exhibition at the Bel Andi restaurant in Via Belfiore 16/bis, Turin, featuring paintings on doors and frames using stencil, spray, and dripping techniques, focused on musical instruments.
