OpenAI partners with Infosys to integrate AI tools into enterprise software development

ai-technology · 2026-04-22

OpenAI has teamed up with Infosys to incorporate its AI technologies, such as Codex, into the Topaz AI platform of Infosys, with an emphasis on software engineering, modernization of legacy systems, and DevOps practices. This alliance grants OpenAI access to Infosys's extensive client network in 60 countries, facilitating large-scale AI implementations for enterprises. In the December quarter, Infosys reported that its AI services brought in around ₹25 billion (approximately $267 million), constituting about 5.5% of its overall revenue. This year, Infosys's stock has dropped more than 22% due to lackluster forecasts and worries regarding AI's impact on traditional outsourcing. Additionally, OpenAI unveiled Codex Labs, collaborating with companies like Accenture and PwC, although financial specifics of the agreement remain undisclosed.
