architecture-design · 2026-05-04

Over 140 buildings, including more than 70 new venues, will open to the public during the second edition of Open House Torino on June 9–10, 2018. The event showcases contemporary architecture and historical heritage across all neighborhoods. Highlights include the newly inaugurated Nuvola Lavazza headquarters designed by Cino Zucchi, offering first-time access to private spaces and a terrace. The Grattacielo Intesa Sanpaolo provides views from the city's highest point. Bernini2's Villa e Torre are among the newest contemporary projects. Underground sites debut, such as the Pastiss galleries defending the Cittadella and the Pietro Micca Archaeological Area, discovered during excavations on corso Galileo Ferraris, opened for the first time. Borgo Aurora features Edicolarte, a newsstand turned art installation curated by Togaci; Arte in Stabile, a condominium animated by artist Alessandro Bulgini; and ViadellaFucina16, a condominium-museum by Coniglioviola. Copernico Garibaldi coworking space hosts a solo show by street artist Opiemme, organized by White Light Art Gallery. The Giardino Segreto opens its garden with Paola Lenti furniture and works by Maura Banfo and Paolo Grassino. Returning venues include NH Collection Piazza Carlina, Duparc Contemporary Suites, and The Number 6 apartment. The event is part of the international Open House network, which includes over 40 cities.
