Open House Roma 2024: Contemporary Architecture and Hidden Gems Open to Public

The 12th edition of Open House Roma is set to take place from April 6 to 14, 2024, providing free entry to more than 200 structures, 40 themed tours, and 50 unique events. This year's focus is on modern architecture, featuring the Rectorate of Roma Tre University designed by Mario Cucinella, the Roma Convention Center "La Nuvola" by Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas, and the BNL BNP Paribas headquarters known as "Orizzonte Europa." Director Laura Calderoni reported that over 800 buildings participated, with around 300,000 guided tours conducted, attracting an average of 30,000 visitors each year. An installation called "Inside" by Dimitris Papaioannou will be showcased at "La Nuvola." Additionally, the Cubo building, which opened in September 2023, is part of Campus Bio-Medico's development plan for 2045.
