architecture-design · 2026-05-05

The inaugural Open House Milano took place in 2016, featuring a city-wide architecture tour that divided Milan into six sestieri. A highlight of the event was FuturDome, a renovated Liberty-style building from the 1910s, which opened on April 9, 2016. The FuturDome project, spearheaded by Isisuf and Atto Belloli Ardessi, showcased twelve artists in its first exhibition, curated by Galleria Zero. Open House Milano is part of the global Open House Worldwide network, with notable sites including Bosco Verticale, designed by Stefano Boeri.
