Open House Milano 2023: 120 sites open for a weekend of architecture

On May 20-21, 2023, Open House Milano will make its return, providing complimentary guided tours to 120 locations throughout Milan. This year's theme, 'Urban Humanism,' explores the connection between humans and their environments. Joining the Open House Europe network, the event prioritizes sustainability and accessibility. The program is organized according to the city's six districts. Among the thematic routes is 'Towards a Zero Impact City,' featuring places like ARIA (Ex Macello) and Hotel Concorde. Tours on landscape architecture include the Redo Merezzate complex, crafted by D&D and others. Notable landmarks such as the Pirelli Tower will be accessible. A key attraction is the preview of Monterosa91, a multifunctional space by Renzo Piano, set to reopen in June. Volunteers manage the festival, which requires online reservations.
