Open Chapel by Christoph Hesse Architects in Hillerhausen

Christoph Hesse Architects completed the Open Chapel in Hillerhausen, Germany, in 2024. The 50 m² structure, designed by Christoph Hesse and Michela Quadrelli, serves as a community space and chapel. It was inspired by the 'Open Mind Places' in Referinghausen, Sauerland region, emphasizing openness and inclusivity. The project was curated by Paula Pintos, with structural engineering by Ing.
