Open Call: Festival of Regions 2027 – Eintauchen / Diving Deeper

Since 1993, the Festival of Regions has been a prominent biennial contemporary art event in Austria. The upcoming 2027 edition, titled Eintauchen / Diving Deeper, is set to occur from June 11 to June 20, 2027, in Aschach an der Donau. This festival will delve into the Danube as a dynamic force shaping social, ecological, and political landscapes. Artists and cultural workers are encouraged to submit proposals that cultivate new connections with aquatic environments and living organisms. Proposals, written in either German or English, must be submitted by April 30, 2026, and should include a project description, theme statement, visual materials, biographies, timeline, and budget. Funding will be available between 5,000 and 20,000 EUR.
