architecture-design · 2026-08-17

From July 25 to October 25, 2026, Shanghai's Power Station of Art (PSA) will present 'The Poetics of Survival,' marking the first exhibition in China focused on Brazilian architect Lina Bo Bardi. Curated by Renato Anelli, this exhibition occupies 2,300 m² in the Huangpu area, designed by OPEN Architecture. Visitors will encounter the essence of Bo Bardi's work, which includes a replica of the indoor pond from SESC Pompéia in the lobby. The main display, arranged along a continuous curve of natural linen, features Lina's designs through various mediums such as drawings, models, photographs, and videos. Additionally, it showcases international architecture exhibitions, including 'Architects of Liberation' at MoMA (running until January 2, 2027) and others in Barcelona, Canada, and Berlin.
