Open-air photo exhibition 'De toda la vida' in Madrid's Retiro Park

From August 31 to September 25, the Paseo de Coches in Madrid's El Retiro Park will host 'De toda la vida', an open-air photography exhibition organized by Iberdrola and Cultura Inquieta to mark the company's 125th anniversary in Spain. The exhibition features 214 images and accompanying texts selected from a contest held on Instagram under the hashtag #Detodalavida125, which invited amateur and professional photographers to submit photos capturing places, objects, people, and customs that endure over time. The jury evaluated photographic quality, sensitivity, authenticity, and narrative ability, awarding prizes to images that capture something deeply recognizable and human. The winning photo chosen by the jury was by Leonor García, and the popular vote winner was by Iván Martínez. The exhibition transforms nostalgia into something tangible and shared, highlighting everyday scenes, old shops, and objects charged with history. Iberdrola, which has illuminated homes and cities for 125 years, uses this project to build an archive of shared memories.
