One Step Beyond: Redefining Photography in the Digital Age at Galerie Christophe Gaillard

From September 6 to 20, 2014, Galerie Christophe Gaillard hosts the group exhibition 'One Step Beyond,' curated by Christophe Gaillard and Isabelle Le Minh. This exhibition showcases artists who question conventional photography in the digital age. Among the works is Le Minh's 'L'Autre de l'Art (Rosalind Krauss)' (2013), which critiques Krauss's index-based theory. It aims to redefine photography and includes contributions from artists such as Constance Nouvel and Hannah Whitaker. The exhibition highlights the lack of attention from French institutions, aside from the Centre Photographique d'Île-de-France. Additionally, significant international exhibitions like 'What is a Photograph?' at ICP in New York and 'Under Construction' at Foam in Amsterdam feature Kate Steciw. Letha Wilson's solo exhibition is scheduled from October 9 to November 15, 2014.
