Omer Fast's Role-Playing Games at Jeu de Paume
Omer Fast's solo exhibition 'Le Présent continue' (The Present Continues) opened at Jeu de Paume in Paris, running until January 24, 2016. The first part of a two-venue show, it features four works from 2002 to 2015, including the early 'CNN Concatenated' and the recent 'Continuity (Diptych)'. The exhibition explores themes of narrative, memory, and media manipulation through video installations. Fast, known for his layered storytelling, uses found footage and staged scenes to blur reality and fiction. The show is accompanied by a review in artpress issue 428 (December 2015) by Audrey Illouz.
