Olson Kundig Completes El Grove Family Home in Valle de Guadalupe
Olson Kundig has completed El Grove, a family home in Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico, in 2024. The project, designed by Tom Kundig with a team including Jerry Garcia and Mikel Amias, comprises a collection of small buildings on a triangular site. Located between mountains and vineyards, the area is known for its food and wine culture. One hundred olive oil trees are arranged in rows to form a formal entry, referencing the region's olive oil production history while screening views of the property. The architecture covers 270 square meters, with photography by César Bejar. Hadir Al Koshta curated the project.
