Olga Gambari Appointed Artistic Director of Paratissima

Olga Gambari has been named the new artistic director of Paratissima, the Turin fair dedicated to emerging artists, taking over from Francesca Canfora, who served for almost ten years. Canfora will remain involved with NICE, the master's program for curators, which will expand to two editions this year. Laura Milani, who has been President since January, commended Canfora's contributions and expressed excitement about Gambari's expertise and vision. Established in 2005, Paratissima provides a platform for emerging artists to present their work autonomously. The fair is set to reopen in May with Peter Lindbergh's "Untold Stories." Gambari, an independent curator and journalist, has worked with notable figures like Matthew Barney and Kara Walker, and aims to preserve Paratissima's welcoming atmosphere.
