Older Studio's 'Memory Curtains' Exhibition at Dropcity in Milan
Letizia Caramia (1989) and Morten Thuesen (1988), the creative minds behind Older Studio, present their inaugural exhibition titled 'Memory Curtains' at Dropcity in Milan. This showcase includes fabric screens framed in wood, featuring negative images of personal photographs printed on nylon-like material, highlighting meaningful locations such as Tuscany, the Danish countryside, Paris, and Ginostra on Stromboli. The project, which stemmed from a piece for Parklife magazine, also incorporates a digitized poem dedicated to their son, Elio. The exhibition is available for viewing by appointment until January 26 at Via Sammartini 60. Older Studio is recognized for its eco-friendly uniforms for institutions like Tate Modern and Fjordenhus. The pair met while working at Alexander McQueen and both studied at Polimoda and the London College of Fashion.
