Olafur Eliasson's Beijing Exhibition Opens at Red Brick Art Museum

Olafur Eliasson, the Danish-Icelandic artist born in Copenhagen in 1967, is opening a major exhibition titled 'Olafur Eliasson: the unspeakable openness of things' at the Red Brick Art Museum in Beijing on March 25, 2018. The show runs until August 12, 2018. It includes works from the museum's permanent collection such as 'Your sound galaxy', 'Water pendulum', and 'The blind pavilion', alongside new site-specific pieces. The installation 'Rainbow assembly' (2016), previously shown at the Samsung Museum in Seoul, will also be on view, using light diffraction through water droplets. The exhibition coincides with the Beijing Gallery Weekend (March 23–30) and Art Basel Hong Kong (March 29–31).
