Olafur Eliasson directs and dances in Peggy Gou's new music video
Olafur Eliasson directed and performed in the music video for Peggy Gou's single "1+1=11," shot in his Berlin studio. The video features a choreography by urban dance company Steen Koerner, with Eliasson executing breakdance moves he learned as a teenager. The single precedes Gou's debut album "I Hear You," set for release on July 7 via XL Recordings. The album cover features Eliasson's work "Psychoacoustic empathy amp" (2023), and the opening track "Your Art" includes a poem by Eliasson originally written for a 2022 TIME magazine cover. Gou will perform in Italy on June 21 at the La Prima Estate festival in Lido di Camaiore, Lucca.
