institutional · 2026-05-05

On September 30, 2017, the Officine Grandi Riparazioni (OGR) in Turin will welcome visitors once again as a hub for arts and innovation, thanks to a €90 million investment from Fondazione CRT. Nicola Ricciardi, who took on the role of artistic director in June 2016, has curated a contemporary art program. The facility spans 35,000 sqm, with a 9,000 sqm north wing dedicated to art installations and performances. The south wing, set to open in 2018, will cater to startups in Big Data and gaming. The inaugural exhibition, launching on November 3, 2017, coincides with Artissima 2017 and involves curators Tom Eccles, Mark Rappolt, and Liam Gillick. Sergio Ricciardone will oversee the opening festivities and the music program for 2017-2018.
