OGR Torino Hosts Group Exhibition on Labor Contradictions

The OGR in Turin presents 'Vogliamo tutto,' a group exhibition curated by Samuele Piazza with Nicola Ricciardi, inspired by Nanni Balestrini's 1971 novel of the same name. The show features thirteen international artists exploring labor rights, automation, and the exclusion of humans from industrial work through installations, sculptures, videos, and performances. Works include Jeremy Deller's protest banner quoting an SMS informing workers of an unpaid day off, and Claire Fontaine's brick-book referencing Mathieu Kassovitz's film 'La Haine.' The exhibition runs at the OGR, a former industrial complex, and is accompanied by inclusive multisensory performances titled 'We want Prometheus free,' directed by Mario Acampa with music by Enrico Gabrielli and Sebastiano De Gennaro, and choreography by EgriBiancoDanza. These performances, supported by Fondazione CRT and local associations, aim to enhance accessibility for visitors with disabilities. Upcoming performances are scheduled for December 3 and January 19, alongside a conference on museum operators and disability organized by Fondazione CRT and Fondazione Paideia.
