OGR Torino Celebrates First Anniversary with Two-Day Festival

OGR Torino marks its first anniversary with a two-day festival on September 29-30, 2018. The venue has attracted 180,000 visitors, hosted 44 concerts, 5 major exhibitions, and 32 public program events. The celebration features an exclusive concert by Baustelle, performing their album 'Amen' in its entirety for its tenth anniversary. The band, formed in 1996 in Montepulciano, will play all 17 tracks rearranged and expanded. The festival also includes collaborations with Club To Club and Torinodanza festival. Dimitris Papaioannou presents his video installation 'Inside' and the award-winning 'The Great Tamer' as part of Torinodanza. The finissage of the exhibition 'Forgive me, distant wars, for bringing flowers home' by artists Ramin Haerizadeh, Rokni Haerizadeh, and Hesam Rahmanian includes the launch of a publication documenting the show, with texts by curator Abaseh Mirvali and art historian Media Farzin. Club To Club offers a night of electronic music with DJ sets by Ben Ufo, Hunee, Jlin, and The Italian New Wave.
