OFFF Barcelona 2026 campaign identity grown from biological traces of creatives
Uncommon Creative Studio has created the campaign for OFFF Barcelona 2026, titled 'Cultured', using mould grown from biological traces of participating artists. During mixer events in London and New York, Uncommon secretly collected imprints, fibers, and fragments from shared surfaces. Artist Dasha Plesen, known as 'the Mould Queen', transformed these traces into mould, which became the basis for the campaign's visual ecosystem, including a typeface called Modernisme and Hyphae, designed by Ryan Bugden. The colour palette draws from nature's leaf-spots, powdery mildews, rusts, and blights. Pep Salazar, director of Off Barcelona, stated that the campaign makes the community tangible. Nils Leonard, creative founder of Uncommon, described the process as a magic trick where participants unwittingly contributed to the identity celebrating them.
