October 2018 Exhibition Highlights: Athens Biennale, Carnegie International, Franz West Retrospective, and More
The 6th Athens Biennale, named ANTI, is happening in Athens, Greece, from October 26 to December 9. It's curated by Stefanie Hessler, Kostis Stafylakis, and Poka-Yio, featuring over 100 artists, including Monira Al Qadiri and Ryan Trecartin. Meanwhile, the 57th Carnegie International at the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh showcases 32 artists, including a collaboration between Im Heung-soon and Han Kang, running from October 13 to March 25. Franz West’s retrospective at the Centre Pompidou in Paris is up until December 10. Other exhibits include Pope.L's One Thing After Another (Part Two) in New York until October 27, and Knock Knock at South London Gallery until November 18.
