Oasis Promoter Secures Knebworth Licence Ahead of 30th Anniversary

North Hertfordshire Council has issued an indefinite premises licence to SJM Concerts for Knebworth House, enabling the promoter of Oasis's 2025 reunion tour to host events for up to 125,000 attendees, with live music and dancing permitted until 03:00. This decision arrives just ahead of the 30th anniversary of Oasis's legendary concerts at the venue, which received ticket applications from more than 4% of the UK population. Notably, this licence also marks the 40th anniversary of Freddie Mercury's last performance with Queen at Knebworth. Henry Lytton Cobbold, the estate's owner, previously expressed interest in an Oasis anniversary show in 2024. A documentary featuring the band's first interviews since their 2009 split is scheduled for release in September. SJM Concerts has promoted various major acts, including Take That and Metallica.
