O-day'min Park Pavilion by gh3* Opens in Edmonton

architecture-design · 2026-06-01

The O-day'min Park Pavilion, crafted by gh3*, has officially opened its doors in Edmonton's Warehouse Campus area. Spanning 270 square meters, this pavilion is a key element of a broader initiative that converts a former parking lot into a vibrant public park. Commissioned by the City of Edmonton, the park is intended to facilitate the area’s transition from industrial functions to a bustling, mixed-use residential environment. This pavilion and park signify initial public investments aimed at fostering community identity and enhancing downtown living. Pat Hanson served as the lead architect, with landscape design by CCxA and engineering by AECOM. PCL was the general contractor, and the project was finalized in 2025, with images captured by Raymond Chow showcasing the structure, which incorporates materials from Flynn Group of Companies, Guardian Industries, Kawneer, and Soprema.
