NYCxDesign 2026: 10 New Bars, Restaurants, and Clubs to Visit

NYCxDesign 2026 runs May 14-20, and Dezeen has curated a list of ten recently opened design-forward venues across New York City. Highlights include Oddball by House Under Magic in Alphabet City, a retro-futuristic bar with Memphis influences; Stars by Studio Valle de Valle, a 450-square-foot East Village wine bar with a zinc bar and cedar paneling; The Maze by Opa Architecture and Laube Studio, an alcohol-free members club in Chelsea; Cove by chef Flynn McGarry in Hudson Square, featuring natural timbers and California-inspired decor; Funny Bar by Safwat by Safwat on the Lower East Side, a jazz lounge with pops of color; La Tête d'Or by Rockwell Group on Park Avenue, an Art Deco steakhouse; Unveiled by Studio MBM in Williamsburg's William Vale hotel, a nightclub with a 1970s lounge and futuristic dance floor; Papa San by INC Architecture & Design in Hudson Yards, a Peruvian-Japanese restaurant with a neon sign and pink spiral staircase; Colbo by Of Enso on the Lower East Side, a wine and vinyl bar expansion; and Field Guide by Mammoth in Williamsburg, a farm-to-table restaurant inspired by 19th-century interiors and Andrew Wyeth.
