Nuno Ramos and Marcos Amaro Present Dialogue Exhibition at FAMA Museum in Itu

FAMA Museu in Itu, São Paulo, hosts the exhibition "A Força do Diálogo: Nuno Ramos e Marcos Amaro" from March 14 to November 1, 2027. The show features dozens of works by both artists, including pieces from Amaro's personal collection. Nuno Ramos, a multidisciplinary artist active for over 30 years, employs materials like vaseline, beeswax, pigments, oil paint, fabrics, plastics, and metals in layered compositions. Marcos Amaro, known for an industrial aesthetic infused with affection, recontextualizes materials in his practice. Large-scale, three-dimensional works dominate the display, emphasizing spatiality and volume within the museum's expansive warehouse setting. Amaro, also a businessman and founder of FAMA Museu, cites Ramos as a key influence, noting his work opened linguistic possibilities for younger generations. The exhibition is installed in the Sala Almeida Jr., Setor 5, with viewing hours on Wednesdays and Fridays through Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Ramos's creations span different periods, while Amaro's pieces reflect his evolving trajectory, fostering a dialogue that echoes across their distinct styles.
