Numero Cromatico's 'Nelle regole della bellezza' Merges Art, Neuroscience, and AI in Pesaro

A new exhibition called 'Nelle regole della bellezza' (In the Rules of Beauty) just opened at the Centro Arti Visive Pescheria in Pesaro, Italy, as part of Pesaro Capitale della Cultura 2024. Curated by the group Numero Cromatico, it explores the intersection of art, neuroscience, and AI. The title comes from a poem by S.O.N.H. (Statements Of a New Humanity), an AI created by the collective. The exhibit includes two main installations: 'Codice umano,' featuring 80 pareidolic images and 24 AI-generated tapestries, and 'Noosfera,' an immersive 40-meter experience in the Chiesa del Suffragio. Dionigi Mattia Gagliardi noted that AI is a tool for artistic expression. There’s also a related editorial project and a thematic meeting scheduled for October 4, 2024.
