November 2022 Global Art Guide: From Kusama in Hong Kong to Jafa in Turin
ArtReview highlights significant exhibitions set for November 2022 across the globe. In Hong Kong, M+ will showcase 'Yayoi Kusama: 1945 to Now' from November 12 to May 14, 2023, featuring early war sketches and Infinity Rooms. In Turin, Arthur Jafa's 'RHAMESJAFACOSEYJAFADRAYTONO' runs from November 4 to January 15. Tokyo will host Mitsuko Miwa's 'Full House' (until December 10), Yuko Mohri's 'Neue Fruchtige Tanzmusik' (November 2 to December 3), and a retrospective of Shinro Ohtake (until February 5, 2023). Oslo's National Museum will exhibit Laure Prouvost's 'Above Front Tears Oui Float' (November 5 to February 12, 2023). In Rome, Jonas Mekas' 'Images Are Real' will be on display from November 9 to February 26, 2023. New York will feature William Eggleston's 'The Outlands' (November 10 to December 17) and a group exhibition at Kurimanzutto (November 11). Madrid will host Christine Sun Kim's 'A String of Echo Traps' (November 11 to February 26, 2023), while São Paulo's Pinacoteca will unveil 'On the Streets' (until January 30, 2023). New Delhi's Khoj Studios will present 'Threading the Horizon' (November 5 to December 30). Birmingham's Ikon Gallery will display 'Horror in the Modernist Block' (November 25 to May 1, 2023). Additionally, the film 'The Menu' is set to premiere on November 18.
