NOTTE Gallery Produces Biographical Film on Piero Manzoni, Premiering in Milan

NOTTE, a Milan-based gallery, has produced a 24-minute biographical docufilm titled "Piero Manzoni: Domani chissà," exploring the life and conceptual art of Piero Manzoni. The film, directed by Alberto Sansone with a screenplay by Mattia Melzi (who also narrates), blends archival footage, fiction, and contemporary scenes to present Manzoni's legacy in a non-traditional documentary style. The original soundtrack is by Martino Vercesi, with cinematography by Mirko Ciabatti. Jacopo Parella portrays Manzoni, supported by a cast including Sophia Koman, Saverio Buono, Laura Anzani, and Alice Berardi. The project is a collaboration with the Fondazione Piero Manzoni and the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, with patronage from Regione Lombardia. The premiere is scheduled for September 22 at the Cinema Arlecchino in Milan. The film underscores NOTTE's mission to act as cultural producers rather than a conventional gallery, emphasizing art as cultural value.
