Not Only Landscape: Master IUAV in Photography Exhibition at Fondazione Fabbri

The exhibition 'Not Only Landscape' at Fondazione Francesco Fabbri in Villa Brandolini, Pieve di Soligo, showcases results from the first edition of the Master IUAV in Photography, directed by Angela Vettese and coordinated by Stefano Graziani and Andrea Pertoldeo. Curated by Carlo Sala, the show presents unconventional views of Venice, explored through workshops led by photographers Armin Linke, Bas Princen, Filippo Romano, Amedeo Martegani, and others. Linke's students accessed restricted spaces at the Biblioteca dei Tolentini, while Romano focused on abandoned military sites of the Serenissima Republic. Martegani explored deserted islands in the Venetian Lagoon, and Graziani encouraged creating 'temporary disorders' in highly characterized contexts. The next edition will feature seminars by Linke, Princen, Martegani, Romano, Guido Guidi, William Guerrieri, Giovanna Silva, with lectures by Mario Lupano, Francesco Garutti, Olivo Barbieri, and Francesco Jodice. The exhibition runs until August 28, 2016.
