North Texas Museums Announce Summer 2026 Exhibition Lineup
Several museums across Dallas, Fort Worth, Wichita Falls, and Waco have unveiled their summer exhibitions for 2026. The Arlington Museum of Art has introduced 'More Than a Match' in honor of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, showcasing pieces by Andy Warhol and others. The Sid Richardson Museum is displaying 'Russell’s Retreat' until April 2027. The Amon Carter Museum will feature 'Here Lyeth' from June 6 to November 8 and 'The Statue of Liberty' from August 16 to January 3, 2027. Wichita Falls' Kemp Center will host seven exhibitions, including K.I.'s 'I’m Not Sure What Time It Is' (May 15–July 28). In Dallas, the Crow Museum presents 'Du Chau' (through March 14, 2027), while the Nasher Sculpture Center features 'Nic Nicosia' (May 16–August 16). The African American Museum will showcase 'People Who Make the World Go ‘Round' starting May 12 and 'Mandela' from June 13 to November 1. In Waco, the Martin Museum will open 'Aquí, Escuchar' (May 26–November 7) and 'Paradise Tossed' (June 9–November 7). Additionally, Art Center Waco's 'Annual Art for All' will take place from July 1 to August 22.
