Normandie Impressionniste 2026: 14 Exhibitions Mark Monet Centenary
The 6th edition of the Normandie Impressionniste festival is set to take place from May 29 to September 27, 2026, under the theme 'Un possible jardin' (A Possible Garden), with Philippe Platel as the curator. This event marks the centenary of Claude Monet. Across Normandy, fourteen exhibitions will showcase contemporary artists inspired by Monet's influence, including Ai Weiwei's 'Water Lilies' at MuMa Le Havre, Sarah Moon's photography at Centre photographique Rouen, and Janaina Tschäpe's artworks at Aître Saint-Maclou. Notable installations by Ange Leccia, Lionel Sabatté, Diana Scherer, and Daniel Buren will also be featured, along with Cai Guo-Qiang's gunpowder paintings at Mont-Saint-Michel. Additionally, Sarah Moon will have a residency in Normandy and Guernsey.
