Norm Architects crafts Audo Copenhagen's debut US showroom in Tribeca

architecture-design · 2026-05-17

Audo Copenhagen has opened its first showroom outside of Scandinavia, called Audo House New York, in a historic building in Tribeca to coincide with NYCxDesign 2026. This ground-floor space on Laight Street, designed by Jonas Bjerre-Poulsen of Norm Architects, blends calm Scandinavian aesthetics with the area’s rugged vibe. The design features soft beige columns paired with exposed brick and dark wood floors. Hidden areas are behind fritted glass and curtains, while lime plaster enhances the ceilings. Styled by Colin King, it displays his Interconnect candle holder and artwork by Portland's Benjamin Ewing. The furniture includes the Elizabeth and Tire Man chairs, Eave sectional, and a standout Androgyne Dining Table. Audo House will regularly update its collection and host events during NYCxDesign from May 14 to 20, 2026. Photography is by Sean Davidson.
