Noor Riyadh 2023 Announces 100+ Artists for Festival and Exhibition
The third edition of Noor Riyadh is set to take place from November 30 to December 16, 2023, with an exhibition continuing until March 2, 2024. This event highlights the work of more than 100 artists from 35 nations, including the U.S., U.K., and various countries in the Middle East. Among the prominent Middle Eastern artists are Abdullah Alamoudi, Arwa Al Neami, and Monira Al Qadiri. The festival presents over 120 pieces of art, including site-specific commissions that align with the theme 'The Bright Side of the Desert Moon.' Curated by Jérome Sans and others, it encompasses five locations in Riyadh and features more than 40 discussions, 100 workshops, and outreach to 450 schools. Additionally, the exhibition 'Refracting Identities, Shared Futures' at JAX District includes artists such as Cecilia Bengolea and Philippe Parreno.
