Non-places and the Spaces in Between: Italian Artists at Premio New York
Established in 2001, the Premio New York is a collaborative initiative by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, the Italian Cultural Institute of New York, and Columbia University's Italian Academy. Each year, it provides two young Italian artists with a six-month residency at the International Studio & Curatorial Program. For the first time, the exhibition 'Non-places and the Spaces in Between,' curated by Ylinka Barotto and Chiara Mannarino, is being held at the Italian Cultural Institute in New York until December 6, 2019. Featured artists include Fatma Bucak, Ludovica Carbotta, Marinella Senatore, Letizia Calori, Violette Maillard, Danilo Correale, Gian Maria Tosatti, and Giorgio Andreotta Calò. Marinella Senatore will perform at Magazzino Italian Art on November 16.
