Non-Alcoholic Wines Now Worth Drinking: Oceano and Isabel Lead the Way

Advancements in technology and a dedicated approach from winemakers have led to a notable enhancement in the quality of non-alcoholic wines. Oceano Wines, among the pioneering U.S. wineries to collaborate with Solos Technology, employs gentle vacuum distillation alongside Solos' Aroma Recovery System (ARS) to improve aroma. Founder Rachel Martin, an advocate for the no- and low-alcohol trend since the 2023 launch of Oceano Zero, highlights the effectiveness of this method. Sourcing grapes from San Luis Obispo and Sonoma County, Oceano is featured among 20 alcohol-free selections on a 1,700-reference list by Navio's lead sommelier, Marco Mendoza.
