Node House: Curved Inter-Terrace Home in Singapore
Node House, designed by Ming Architects, is a 4000 m² residence on a narrow inter-terrace plot in Singapore. Completed in 2025, the house incorporates atypical curves and sculptural forms to maximize living spaces while maintaining a sleek feel. Inspired by traditional shophouses, a courtyard with an air well draws natural light into the living and dining areas, featuring a Ficus longifolia tree requested by the homeowners. The design team includes Erica Chan, with TLT PROJECTS as general contractor, ESMOND LANDSCAPE AND HORTICULTURAL for landscape architecture, PTS CONSULTANTS for structural engineering, and WS SURVEYORSHIP for quantity surveying. Lead architect Tan Cher Ming used materials from Polystone, Rice Fields, and Sol Luminaire. Photographs by Studio Periphery.
