Noah Horowitz returns to Art Basel as CEO
Noah Horowitz is stepping in as the new CEO of Art Basel, returning to the organization after a year at Sotheby’s as Worldwide Head of Gallery & Private Dealer Services. He previously served as Director Americas from 2015 to 2021. Horowitz takes over from Marc Spiegler, who started as Co-Director in 2007 and became Global Director in 2012, significantly contributing to Art Basel Miami Beach's 20th anniversary and launching Paris+ par Art Basel. MCH Group Chairman Andrea Zappia praised Horowitz's industry knowledge, digital abilities, and strong networking. Horowitz's official start date is 7 November, with Spiegler managing the transition until the year’s end.
