NOA's La Perla Nightclub in Merano Centers on Glass-Enclosed Madonna Shrine
The NOA studio, located in Bolzano, has finalized the design of La Perla, a nightclub situated within a historic vault in Merano, Italy. This 300-square-meter underground venue retains its original stone walls and masonry vaults. At the clients' request, a glass-enclosed shrine featuring a statue of the Virgin Mary has been incorporated at the entrance. Guests are welcomed by a softly illuminated staircase leading to the shrine, which is highlighted by a circular light installation above the Madonna. Inside the club, there is an open dance floor, a raised DJ booth, and two VIP lounges named Inferno and Paradise, with Inferno showcasing red lighting and dark materials, while Paradise features blue tones. The project is expected to be completed in 2026.
