Noa*: lo studio di architettura altoatesino tra olismo e internazionalizzazione

architecture-design · 2026-04-27

Noa*, short for network of architecture, was established eleven years ago by Lukas Rungger and Stefan Rier. This vibrant studio boasts a team of 27 professionals, including architects and interior designers, and operates between Bolzano and Berlin. Their unique holistic and interdisciplinary approach blends architecture and interior design to create a cohesive experience in their spaces. The studio collaborates with artists, photographers, musicians, and psychologists, with the asterisk in their logo hinting at an extra layer of meaning. Andrea Profanter, who became a partner in 2015, is set to open a new office in Milan by the end of 2022. Their portfolio spans hotels, residential projects, and installations like Ötzi Peak 3251M in Val Senales. In 2020, they won the Architect of the Year Award, and Profanter aims to elevate the profile of young architects in Italy.
